There are two independent performance theatres located in Lambton County: the Victoria Playhouse, and Imperial Theatre. Each of these theatres is housed in a historically restored building and are key players in Lambton County’s arts scene. The Sarnia Library is home to the Sarnia Library Theatre, which plays host to numerous community events.

The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery (JNAAG) is a free public art gallery located in the centre of Sarnia’s downtown cultural district, owned and operated by the County of Lambton. The JNAAG engages the community through a wide-range of exhibitions, tours, lectures and programs for all ages. The gallery’s collection is comprised of over 1,100 primarily Canadian historical and contemporary works of both local and national significance.

The County of Lambton owns and operates three museum facilities within its Cultural Services Division. These facilities are the Lambton Heritage Museum, the Oil Museum of Canada National Historic Site, and the Lambton County Archives. These three museums are part of Heritage Sarnia-Lambton, a network of museums and heritage organizations across Lambton County that actively promote the rich history of the community.
